DCMA Policy Provisions

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) provides recourse for copyright owners who believe their materials have been infringed online. Under the DMCA, copyright owners with a good faith belief that their rights have been violated can file a complaint with the infringer or the designated Internet Service Provider (I.S.P.) agent.

The owner of this website and the I.S.P. comply with all U.S. copyright laws. Upon receipt of a valid DMCA complaint, the allegedly infringing material will be blocked, and a copy of the notification will be forwarded to the alleged infringer. Those who believe a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed may submit a counter-notice.

Notification of Claimed Copyright Infringement

To file a notice of infringement, please send your complaint to:

Website Owner: Ian Smith
Email: quaysclinic@gmail.com

Please include the following details in your notice:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work believed to be infringed.
2. Details of the infringing material, including the URL(s) and specific content.

4. A statement affirming that the information is accurate, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner, and that you believe in good faith the material is not authorised for use.
5. Signature (physical or electronic) of the copyright owner or an authorised representative.

For more information, see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Counter-Notification to Claimed Copyright Infringement

You may file a counter-notification if you believe you have been wrongfully accused of copyright infringement. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, access to the material will typically be restored within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complaining party takes legal action.

Please be aware that filing a false counternotice can result in substantial penalties under U.S. copyright law. If you are unsure, consult an attorney.
