I first became interested in hypnosis and hypnotherapy at around the age of ten when watching a stage hypnotist perform on television. I can vividly remember trying to hypnotize my brother with a swinging watch.
Later in life after leaving the armed forces I started to suffer very badly from depression and had been taking a multitude of different anti-depressant tablets with no success. This is where my journey began.

A friend of mine suggested that I use self-hypnosis to overcome the symptoms of depression that were affecting me. My friend only had a little knowledge about using self-hypnosis techniques to overcome depression so I decided to learn more about the subject.
I read many hypnosis books and watched lots of hypnosis DVDs and put the information and advice to good use. With the limited knowledge that I had at that time, I was astonished to discover how effective hypnotherapy was at changing my habits, behaviors, and emotions.
This is where my journey of discovery began.

After attending a hypnosis training course in County Durham in the North East of England I completed the practitioner course obtaining a distinction in clinical hypnotherapy (Distinction D.Hyp).
I then opened up my own business which is now one of the leading hypnotherapy clinics in England.

It has been many years since the start of my career in the hypnotherapy business where I have successfully helped many people to change their lives for the better. I have helped clients with a wide variety of problems but specialize in stop smoking hypnosis.
